Maintaining a global business model often requires global banking transactions in multiple currencies. With exchange rates in a state of constant flux, manually performing exchange rate calculations regularly is not only time consuming, but creates opportunity for error your business cannot afford.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central’s multicurrency system was designed to handle these transactions. With Business Central, eliminate the need to manually calculate adjustments caused by exchange rate variation. In this Microsoft video, learn how simple it is to adjust exchange rates in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to keep up with fluctuating exchange rates:
Features of Business Central’s Multicurrency System
By default, Business Central’s general ledger uses local currency, but an additional currency can be assigned for transacting and reporting. Through the designation of a second currency, Business Central automatically records both the local currency and the additional reporting currency on ledger entries. Rates for customers, vendors, banks, and reporting can be adjusted individually or in a batch.
